Once again, end of the winter will be celebrated in South Yorkshire by great winter beer festival (18th now), traditionally taking place at Oakwood Technology College (Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2UH). This year it will be again much bigger than previous year! You can find more than 200 different beers, ciders and wines from over 24 bars. That is why this festival now have very promising name "Great British Northern Beer Festival". During drinking event all visitors can enjoy by listening few different real bands, such as the Monte Carlo Safecrackers, Connie Lush and ZZ Eliminator and others.

Real English Ales will be supplied by well known local breweries, such as Acorn, Timothy Taylor, Thornbridge, Durham, Sheffield Brewery, Spire, Crown, Abbeydale, Brew Company, Kelham Island, Clark's and many others. The detailed list of available beers will be available later. In addition to regular beers, many breweries will try to encourage thirsty beer lovers and beer tickers with special beers, brewed only for this event.

Please note, that there is no free re-entry with class on Friday! A glass will allow free re-entry on Saturday only.

To save 2 halves we recommend to buy tickets in advance. Tickets are available at Oakwood Technology College, Rotherham ASDA, Rotherham Tesco, South Yorkshire Tourist Offices, Rotherham Tourist Office, Rotherham CAMRA, Morrisons (Parkgate & Bramley), Rotherham Central Library (!!!) and of course at your local real ale Pubs and shops.

Despite the importance of this event for all beer lovers from South Yorkshire, or even from the North of England, the official festival website is not ready yet (one month before the event).
